Roop Kumar is a Post Graduate from Andhra University and a PhD scholar from University of Mumbai.

He is a RIMS Fellow (RF), Fellow Life Management Institute (FLMI), Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) RIMS,USA and an Associate in Risk Management (ARM™) from The Institutes USA.

He is also Member on Board of Studies of National Insurance Academy (NIA) and Faculty for reputed institutes like NUS (Singapore), SMU(Singapore), ASCII(Hyderabad), for subjects like Enterprise Risk Management, Strategic Risk Management, Business Continuity & Resilience, Information Security & Data Protection, Life Insurance & Marketing etc.

He has over 34 Years of experience (20 years in Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India and over 14 years in SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd., in leading multi-unit teams, holding Senior management positions in Marketing, Operations, Enterprise Risk Management, Cyber Security, Data Protection, Business Continuity.

Technically qualified, an Experienced Trainer, applies vast industry knowledge and experience, coupled with Operational and Marketing insights, to create, build new and contemporary Systems & Applications, which are appropriate to the environment.
